Phomopsis fruit rot

SYMPTOMS

Spots: Small, circular, white or light brown spots appear on unripe fruits at the blossom end. As the fruit ripens, the spots grow and cover the fruit's surface. Softness: The infected fruit tissue becomes softer and emits an unpleasant odor. Decay: The fruit becomes soft, watery, and decays. Mummification: The fruit eventually turns black and mummified as pycnidia develop on its surface
