Soft rot

SYMPTOMS

The disease starts at the neck of the bulb and progresses downward, causing water-soaked tissue to disintegrate into pulp. The scales may appear pale yellow to light brown, bleached gray to white, or soft and sticky. A foul-smelling liquid can be squeezed from the neck of the bulb
