Description

Katyayani Aakramak (Novaluron 5.25% + Emamectin benzonate 0.9 % W/W SC) Chemical insecticide is a combination insecticide containing Novaluron 5.25 % (a.i) and Emamectin benzoate 0.9% (a.i) in the formulation. It is used for the control of diamond back moth (dbm) & tobacco caterpillar on Cabbage, gram pod bores & tobacco caterpillar in Chilli, gram pod bores in red gram and stem borer in Rice.

Mode of action

Novaluron is absorbed mainly by ingestion but shows some contact activity. Emamectin benzoate is non-systemic insecticide which penetrates leaf tissues by translaminar movement. Paralyses the Lepidoptera, which stop feeding within hours of ingestion.

Target Pests:

Novaluron 5.25% and Emamectin benzoate 0.9% is used for the control of diamond back moth (dbm) & tobacco caterpillar on Cabbage, gram pod bores & tobacco caterpillar in Chilli, gram pod bores in red gram and stem borer in Rice.
