Description
Uses :The nematophagous fungus, Verticillium chlamydosporium, has considerable potential as a biological control agent for root-knot nematodes on a range of crops. The fungus is a general facultative parasite that attacks the eggs of several nematode species.
Mode of Action: The fungus is capable of functioning as a parasite to eggs and females of the root-knot nematode. It forms a network of hyphae that covers the egg mass, penetrates the egg, and starts feeding on the nematodes’s internal content.

Purpose: | Effective Control of Nematodes – Root Knott, Reiniform, and Citrus Nematodes
Method of Application & Dosage Seed treatment 7 gm/Kg of seeds , properly mix it and shade dry before sowing. Nursery beds 100 gm/ per sq. meter Soil Application 2 kg Per/acre either drip/conventional system or mix with 300-500 kg FYM , incubate it and finally bradcast the field. Benefited Crops Tomato, Brinjal , Carrot , Okra , Chillies , Cabbage , Cauliflower , Cucurbits , Beet root , Paddy , Cotton ,Sugarcane , Wheat , Sorghum , Sunflower, Groundnut , Ginger, Turmeric , Legumes, Rose , Gerbera , etc , wherever plant parasitic nematodes had observed.
